Tell us what you think about growing up!

In R.E., we’ve been thinking about what it means to become an adult.

Our thinking question is:

Who has more freedom – grown-ups or children? Why?

Tell us what you think using the blog below.

  1. I think children because if they do something bad they won’t go to prison so they don’t have to worry

  2. I think grownups because they tell us what to do and where to go and some of the time we don’t get to say what we want to say

  3. i agree

  4. It’s hard to decide because they both have good things about them and bad things about them . And children haven’t been adults so it’s harder for them to know !

  5. I think it’s even. Adults are grown up and make more independent choices;hence their freedom. However, restrictions apply such as responsibilities. But children on the other hand, are limited in their choices and have less responsibilities.

  6. This Is My Question! I Think Children Have More Freedom Because They Have Bigger Minds And They Have More To Learn And They Have More Ahead Of Them In Life.

I agree with Tabitha children have a creative mind full of interesting things that grownups may not have

I think adults because they can tell people what to do and they can go were they want and do nearly anything they want but i think children too because they can do what ever they want because they cant go to prison until they are 18 but they can go to juvinile when they are ten.

  9. I think adults and children both have the same freedom to think and do as they want.

  10. I do not want to grow up cause i don’t want to have children though i wouldn’t mind being a boy

  11. I am not sure .You don’t have as much time as a child so make the most of it . But also adults maybe because they some times take over you if you are a child .

  12. I think adults because they tell us what to do and boss us around and they tell us off if we don’t do it! And they don’t have to get up at 7 am to go to school and they can have late nights! Which i think is unfair.

  13. children may think that adults have more freedom because they can tell them what to do but actually I think children have more freedom because they don’t have to work or worry about as many responsibilities as adults do therefore my answer is without a doubt children certainly have more freedom than adults.

  14. some children may think that adults have more freedom because they can tell you what to do but I think that children have more freedom because they don’t have as many responsibilities to worry about.

Definatlty Adults. Here are 10 reasons
1} Kids have to go to school Adults can do whatever
2} Adults can actually choose if they want to work
3} Kids cant legally buy a few things like fireworks
4} Adults can work at places Kids cant, What if i wanted to work at a corner shop!
5} Kids cant use a bank debit card until they are 16 (its near 18 dont get angry)
6} Adults can own a home OWN not live in
7} Kids have to be near parents every day (Unless in a boarding school)
8} Adults are usually in charge
9} Kids under 14 usually cant go to town on there own
10} Adults can go everywhere anywhere at any time if they have the money
